Rated R because of a tobacco pipe? I don't think so. The lion, the witch and the wardrobe was a great movie, and I am sure that it does not advertise smoking. Holy cow, does EVERYTHING need to be politically correct? Next we should ban Popeye cartoons because he had a pipe!! Give me a break.

Ummmm ... the argument that LWW deserved an R rating because one character smokes a pipe is pure bunk, in spite of your website link. Being in an epic battle has some negative effects (and pretty gruesome ones, too) but that wasn't R-rating-worthy. Therefore, why get your knickers in a twist over one lousy scene with a pipe?

Absolutely not. Now, if pieces of animal and human went flying through the air due to decapitation and there were (God forbid) sex scenes then yes.
