On 4DPO I found a bit of brown CM on my underwear, but nothing when I wiped. I have dry CM currently, so it was unexpected and not accompanied by other CM. There wasn't very much of it; less than a small pea size, and I haven't gotten any more since. I have had cramping, but for the last 7 or 8 months that's been off and on common throughout my entire cycle, so I can't really rely on that as another sign. Could this be implantation 'bleeding'? Is there not enough of it? Too soon for implantation?

Thanks! I'm new to TTC lingo and fertility signs, but it's very addicting:).

Come to think about it, this has happened once before, but I wasn't as aware of conception as I am now, and I didn't get pregnant at that time. Is it common to 'spot' during your luteal phase? Is this even spotting? I don't remember EVER spotting during my first pregnancy, until I was 41 weeks preggers, and it was A LOT of brown.

In general, implantation bleeding should occur somewhere between 6-12 days post ovulation. It is mainly light pink, occurs over a few hours to two days, and you don't need anything more than a pantiliner.

Now about your symptoms... I don't know why it happens, but every once in a while (especially when it gets closer to my period), I get the brown when I wipe. I think what you're describing does not sound like implantation bleeding.

That's not to say that you couldn't be pregnant-- BUT, since it was only when you wiped, brown, and only 4 DPO...I'm going to say, no, that's not implantation bleeding.

Hope this helps!

Good luck!

Sounds like implantation bleeding, you may have been a couple days off as far as ovulation was concerned...Hang in there till it's time to test..
Good luck
