I need a nice hotel for 5 people near Rapid City SD. We don't need many amenities, just so it's clean.

I have been to Rapid City twice once for business and once for vacation. Stayed at two nice places.
Holiday Inn Rushmore Plaza 119 Dollars

Hi try this page http://www.unusedrooms.com/specials/city/Rapid%20City.html it has two hotels on offer Ramada and Days Inn. The prices look ok and from past experience both are good hotel groups.

South Dakota was the original home of Super 8 motels, and they're still absolutely everywhere in that state. If you check out www.super8.com, you can probably find what you're looking for.
