Everytime I do she has uncontrollable convulsions and starts babbling to God telling him she's coming to see him I guess. I really don't want to lose her.

sounds to me like you have had too much for now. I know when my honey starts talking to God and having uncontrollable convulsions then I put her away. Maybe you should try it too. You won't lose her...she will always be there for you...
