Very ugly and very unattractive. I never will understand why people want to permanently mark up their skin.

If done in taste, they're great. But when it's obvious like George Forman's face thing, that's when art becomes trashy. The best ones are the ones no one sees or even knows about. You're wrist is a pretty obvious place. Try going a little above the watch line so you can sill hide them under long sleeve shirts when you need to.

I think tattoos are too trendy. Seems like everyone has them. As far as how I feel about people that have them...well...it really doesn't reflect who a person is so most of the time I don't even notice them anymore. (Unless someone has something unusual.) I know a guy who is tattooed all over and he is the best father to his 3 year old girls. He is sweet and considerate. People are a little intimidated when they see him, but quickly see how great he is!

I always thought tattoos were weird and a waste of money. Then I started watching Miami Ink. I started to realize how tattooing is more of an art than anything else. On one episode, this guy and his wife came in to get a tattoo of their daughter on his arm because she had died in a swimming pool at the age of 2, and he always wanted to have her with him. I thought that was really cute and now I really don't mind tattoos. Actually I was kind of thinking about getting one on my ankle in a few years...lol.

Think before you get them, remember once you get one, it's on you for life-I got anxious when I got my 1st 2 tattoos on both my fore arms; a naked woman on my right & a skull on my left,-(they were free at someones house & the guy did the worst job, the skull has been covered & the woman tattoo has been fixed twice at others houses, but should be covered too! (It's best to pay a proffessional in a shop to do your tattoos unless you know someone you trust.-good luck.

I personally do not like them but if they are small and of something that is not immoral I don't have a problem if someone else wants one. I would very much discourage my children to get one unless it was in a place that no one else can see or in a place that could be hidden if they get to a point that they no longer like them

I would suggest NOT getting any on your wrists, forearms, ankles, neck.
I have 2 large tattoos..Flowers and an ocean wave on my lower back and a tribal around my belly button.
I'm a stay at home mom.

I like tattoos. I have two. Just remember to think of your future when you pick the location of the tattoo because they are not very professional. Also, whatever you get, make sure the symbol is vaild.

First of all, if you're going to get one, get it because YOU want to, not because of what anyone else thinks.
It's going to be on YOUR body, and they are permanent.
I have six tattoos; I love them. When I got my first one, I would have strangers come up to me all indignant saying: You shouldn't mark on your body like that! My response: Do I f@cking know you? No? Then get out of my face.
If you're young, it can be a problem with the parents. Are you cool with telling them to back off? If so, go for it.

Love them! I have 1 design on my back right shoulder and 3 name about it. (my kids names) I would get more but my hubby doesn't like them and he doesn't want me to get any more. :*( I would LOVE to get my kids portraits and I want an ankle bracelet too with my each person in my family (kids, me and hubby's) birth month flower and the word FAITH in between them. Go for it. If it is personal to you, you wont want to get rid of it in 10 years. Like a tweety bird lol. I suggest though you change where you are going to get it. Most times people who get them like them but their lives change and they grow up and get jobs where having a tattoo where it is visible isn't a good thing. Put it on your upper arm or back or even leg. Good luck :)
