It depends on what you have compared to your needs. Bottom line is there are 3 studs being offered in this deal and if it makes sense compared to what your roster needs are then it is a good trade either way. personally i would rather be on the receiving end of Zambrano and K-Rod simply because i am getting 2 downright nasty pitchers with big number potential. But on the other hand Crawford is clearly a top 10 talent with great number potential across the board and is still raising his level of play every year and should be even better this year with bats like Baldelli supporting him. Cant go wrong either way depending on the rest of your roster, could be a horrible mistake if you trade from an area that is already weak just to have more of what you already have.

Carl Crawford is a top-10 talent with 5-tool category written all over him. I just feel sorry that he's playing in a horrible Tampa Bay team in the first place. Next to Jose Reyes, he is one of the fastest players around and batting in the juiciest part of the batting order (#3) brings him more RBI opportunities and decent SB totals. Zambrano is just running on "father time" and is due for a breakdown soon with a lot of innings pitch in his career, as well as being the only Cubs pitcher not to be cursed. K-Rod is arguably the best closer around and he's going to get better. That's my analysis of these players and hope this help in making this trade.

The K-Rod/ Zambrano side is easily the better deal. They are both top 10-12 pitchers. While Crawford is good, he is always over rated. Look at your league's 3 year averages for pt production and see where the most pts will be.

to be honest, i would need to see your pitching staff and outfield. if you have a weak outfield or have a lot of speed, get/keep crawford because he can either improve your outfield or he can add to your speed because then you will dominate that stat week-in week-out. for example, if i did not have carl crawford, i wouldn't even bother going after chone figgins because that's all figgins is good for and if no one else will produce in that stat, figgins is a wasted roster spot, no one man can win a stat for a team.
if you have a terrble pitching staff or are stacked in K's, get/keep these guys because they can either improve your pitching or they will add to your K's and you will dominate that stat week-in and week-out. is this repetitive?
you wanna get guys who strengthen a position or add to a stat, that's a big secret behind head-to-head fantasy baseball.
unless of course this is roto or points based, i would take the big z, k-rod side because they add much depth to a pitching staff. in a points league, K's, era, whip, wins, saves would all improve with these 2

well its hard to compare since you are comparing offense with pitching and we cant see your team. but i would go with zambrano and k rod. crawford is good and all but i cant turn down to great pitchers. zambrano gets wins and tons of Ks and KRod is one of the best closers in the game. crawford gives you stls but its ok to lose in sb if you win everything else.

lets see 2 elite pitchers/ top ten best pitchers in the league for a top 10 out fielder i wouldnt do this unless you have great out fielders without crawford and you need help in pitching. plus crawford is great for SB but anything else he gets you is gravy.
