That's my point! Why did 26 FED PLAZA put a 17 year old ghetto high school on the payroll with bad grammer and spelling.

I have fought for the rights of women, African-Americans, Asians, Hispanics, the elderly and AIDS patients, among others. Discrimination and bigotry is wrong, no matter where it is encountered
Whose rights have you fought for, other than your own?
(note spelling, also "their")
EDIT - PD, I care about spelling because I prefer to communicate in English. Poor spelling and grammar gets in the way of clear communication.

Wide Awake...again with the spelling? What gives? Are your pants too tight or something?
Anyway that is a very good question.
I am sure individual will give you an extensive list of their crusading and efforts to help mankind. (Does anyone else confuse the smell of arrogance and bull crap?)
I am hispanic (True minority not to be confused with special interest group like LGBT) and I would be horrified if my minority group was represented by some of these folks.
But generally speaking...I bet unless it fits into the political agenda they only help those that help them.
But then doesn't everyone?
The only ones I need fighting for me are the men and women in uniform. And for them a great big THANKS!
And a smaller thx for Wide Asleep for pointing me toward the spell check above the narration part. What did I ever do without it?
Edit for WA: Anal retention. (Did I spell that right? lol)

Oddly enough I'm fighting for the rights of women who are still living in strong patriarchal societies.
When i was at uni i fought for the rights to access to free contraception on the campus. I suppose i did that cos my girlfriend was gonna get me pregnant?
I'm currently involved in fathers for justice.
Be honest, you don't even want a real answer to this do you? You just want someone to reinforce your own tired misconceptions about the gay community?
Don't you think we have enough to do fighting for our own rights. If it bothers you that much back off and leave us alone then maybe we will have more time to fight for the rights of other people!
Whose rights do you fight for other than your own sorry rights to free speech so that you can come on here to moan about people being gay?

well, of course you fight for your own rights. but the gay community does not have the same views on other things such as religion, race and culture. everyone has their own individual opinions on different things.

Feminism, often enough. Most groups stick more to their own rights, though an exception to that would probably be the Jewish civil rights workers.

Women, religious minorities, racial minorities, people with disabilites, animals, the poor, children, the abused Earth...you name it. Everyone is passionate about some causes. I think sometimes gays care more about others' rights because we understand how precious they are.

Believe it or not - there are millions of gays - who knows who's right they fight for - I am sure many of them are very charitable. They also have their hands full fighting for their own rights.

Isn't enough to fight for you own rights before you fight for someone elses. Who's rights have you fought for?

Whenever gay people stand up for our right to be ourselves, we're simultaneously standing up for your right to be yourself.
