also how much of the strech marks does it reduce and if the strech marks are pink does that mean that they are still recent thanks

The young lady above is not stupid.It does not work I have tried it for 6 to 8 months on top of exersize and see no results so dont wast your money.

Yes I tried it and no it didn't work. Stretch marks aren't scars, they are stretched skin. Mederma is for scars.
I didn't want to face that fact when I got them from pregnancy, but sadly it's true. There is nothing you can do besides surgery to get rid of them. But you can sure waste your money trying like I did, lol!
Most things out there are to PREVENT stretchmarks, not to fix them once you have them, so don't be fooled.
They will eventually "fade" and not be as noticeable.

Do not listen to the above poster, she is stupid. Stretch marks ARE SCARS so mederma CAN be used for it since it is an ointment meant for SCARS. And yes it works, you just have to be consistent. I used it for a month and my stretch marks were less noticeable. It takes up to 6-8 months for it to completely heal the scar, depending on how bad it is.
