PILLING UP not piling up

Don't wash them on a heavy duty cycle in the washer. And, don't wash them with items that are of a heavier weight than they are (i.e. jeans, towels, sweatshirts) Often it is the rubbing against or agitation that makes fabric pill. Also, put some tennis balls in the dryer with them to keep them moving freely and to help dry them faster. Remember the higher the thread count on sheets, the less likely they are to pill. With blankets, the higher the percentage of natural fiber (i.e. cotton) vs synthetic fiber (acrylic) the less likely they are to pill.

Take them off the bed and put them directly into the wash by themselves, then into the dryer on low.As soon as the dryer stops -go put them back onto the bed .That way you avoid it is to buy well made sheets, and to really make sure take them to the cleaners .

To avoid this the sheets have to be a minimum 200 thread count, the higher the better. Egyptian cotton is the best.

You have to buy high quality sheets to avoid this problem and take them to the dry cleaners. Home machines will wreck good linen as well as poorer quality linens.

Don't wash them as often instead of washing them so much, try spraying them with Febreeze (sp?) on them every now and then ;)
