I am an assistant manager at a local resturaunt, and I just started the job anew. I have managed resturaunts before, but have never had to deal with such a birage of teenagers. I am 36, and quite frankly, they seem like spoiled, smart mouthed brats. What can I do besides remember that I was that age once? Believe me, I was never like that as many of us at my age weren't.

It's "barrage," and the only way to deal with them is physical violence.

Hi! Being a teenager myself, I am sure we have the ability to get on people's nerves! I work as a waitress at a local restaurant. I have a great relationship with my manager there. The best advice I can give is to be a good listener and just try to be positive. Teens like myself can be definitely obnoxious, but I know that all we need is someone to care and at least humor us. If you just listen to those teens and do your best to tolerate them, you could have some great, new friends pretty soon i think!

i'm a teenager and i know that some of them are extreme. just remain calm and nice. try to communicate with them though before that. learn what is actually going through thier minds. be friendly. but stand your ground. do not let them push you around. if they do not listen, and get too rowdy, don't be afraid to kick them out or threaten to call the authorities.
