I was thinking of putting some pasta in my antipasta salad, but I was concerned due the applicable quantum realities.

i assume you meant antipasto which are cold appetizers (cured meats, salami, cheese, veggies, olives).
but i know you're being foolish. well just like i studied in particle physics, when matter and anti-matter come into contact with each other, you have violent reaction in accordance with e=mc^2. you get something like nuclear explosion.
therefore, there could be a violent reaction as well when it comes to mixing pasta and antipasta.
