According to statistics, Kentucky is the poorest state in the Union. Next comes Mississippi, then Texas, and then Alabama....they have the poorest counties in the United States (Kentucky having 29 while Mississippi has 13 of the 100 poorest counties in the US).
Any of these states have a fairly low cost of living.

Reno Nevada, Las Vegas Nevada, Texas, Montana and parts of Colorado. These State there no States income tax except Colorado they have fix low State income tax.

i call it the cheapest place on earth!!!
sadly i don't live there
:( i wish i did i would have so much more money not spending it on expensive stuff

Just look for the state with the lowest wages, and you'll likely find it. In general, try the northern mountain states, southern states and midwest - avoid the coasts.

florida is cheap my parents had bought a 3 room house 5 min from the beach for like 50k but that was like 15 years ago

Iowa has just about the lowest housing costs anywhere, and food is generally cheaper in the Midwest than anywhere else in the country.
