Of course Ipod is no longer under warranty.Last night the song was crackly and stayed on only the one song.Could not turn off or on so just left it to die out on its own.Now can't turn it off,on or charge it.I think the screen said applesupport.com.after it died out.Tried support and no help there and hpinvent on the back no longer supports.

Plug it in to iTunes and there is a button to 'restore' - click this and wait. It will re build the OS. You should be good after that

what kind of ipod is it? Have you got it wet? has it got alot of pressurg on it that might break something inside it? was it charging during a thunder storm when it happened? E-Mail me back with your answers at mamorford@yahoo.com

if it's any ipod that uses the click wheel (nano, 5g, mini, or video) than toggle the hold switch twice than hold down the select button, and the pause/play button, it will reset your ipod and it should go back to normal
