I have been searching for that answer myself. It disgust me that they have no clue. I have seen numbers ranging from 1000 - 6000. I check mutliple websites, and one search ironically brought me here to your question.

Why isn't there more informaiton out there? It's infuriating.

I know there were more people that died with related deaths to hurrican katrina then there were deaths from 9/11.

There is not an exact number. Not all the bodies were found.
