Old saying: "You're not paranoid if they really ARE after you."
Everyone talks to themselves. It is the people who cannot control their psychological impulses, who are, in fact, physicallizing what is essentially an internal monologue (although they are talking, they are usually responding to past comments and conversations that cannot be silenced by simply arguing with them silently) that are technically crazy. When your dead mother's voice keeps 'shouting' in your head what a 'rotten child you were' and you keep saying out loud, 'shut up shut up shut up shut up', then you are crazy.
Momentarily sounding out an arguement in your head (I wonder if I will like this movie or not) so that you can focus on making a decision does not mean you are crazy.

I think it depends on how you talk to yourself. I talk to myself like I'm trying to figure something out, for rehearsing to speak to a guy I like if I see him, or I get angry with myself.
But if your walking down the street and your talking to yourself like your talking to imaginary people. Than yes, you are crazy!

i dont think so. I talk to myself all the time. I may be weird but im not crazy. I enjoy talking to myself more than others. It is the only way i can have an intelligent discussion.

it all depends on what you talk to yourself about . in general i believe it to be one of lifes simple pleasures , you know , talking to ones self.
