I started my daughter on cereal at 4 1/2 months. She's 6 1/2 months now, I introduced vegetables to her at 6 months. She's up at 8 she's fed breastmilk at 9 she has 2 tablespoon of cereal, nap, at noon she has 4 tablespoons mixed with veggies, she nurses every 2 hours after that, and has 4 tablespoons of cereal with veggies for dinner and nurse before she goes down. i am not sure if that's alot but that's how much she eats. i am starting to introduce fruits to her for snacks.

I breastfed, so I don't know the volume of the nursing.

But, she would nurse every 4 hours or so.

I didn't introduce solids until 1 year. But often people feed about 1/2 a jar of baby food three times a day.

My son has an 8 oz. bottles every 4 hours. 8 AM, Noon, 4 PM, and 8 PM. At that time, he only had 1 teaspoon of cereal w/ 1 teaspoon fruit and I attemped it 3 times a day. Maybe if he ate a full tablespoon all day it was a lot.

Good Luck!

I have a five month old. She nurses every two to three hours from about six in the morning to ten at night. She hasn't started food yet.
