Anyone who thinks this knows absolutly nothing about soccer/football. Every single damn team does it. Just because the italians do it the best n rarely get caught, don't be pissed!! Had france won the cup, im sure no one would of been talking about the dive the player took in the box to win them the penalty kick. Bunch of haters.. well hey, you know what the say... if you can't beat em, join em!

I will paraphrase what Maradonna once said about the "hand of god"
Forwards get fouled all the time and the referees allows the advantage (which encourages fouls on forwards). If a forward fouled a back the same way he would get a free kick against him - unfair
Free kicks and penalties from dives and the "hand of goal" are just a way of balancing the injustices.
It would be better if the game were cleaned up and no-one dived.

Perhaps you are right... but don't forget France's goal in World Cup Final against Italy. They got penalty kick because Malouda commited diving in penalty box. If you see the moment from match record from correct angle, Materazzi didn't even touch him before he fell down!

i don;t care what country they play for, if anyone dives then you are cheaters. I've seen just about everyone who done it so I don't understand why pick on one country. The ONLY Italian I hate is Materazzi, I've never liked him before his going to the world cup. He is not my favorite Italian and I think he is such a drama queen that he should go into professional wrestling. I take Cannavaro or Barzagli over Materazzi.

see, you worded this wrong. you said we do it best and dont get caught....we don't do it 'best'. we do it same as any other country, not more, not less, not better or worse. they're just jealous because we play real football and win.
