I'm 28 years old, and I'm trying to buy some new clothes. I don't have much money saved up, but I was approved for credit from Chadwick's of Boston. I get tons of catalogs from them, some are Chadwick's, others are I've gotten are called metrostyle, they've also sent me some catalogs called La Redoute, Roaman's, Lane Bryant and Jessica London - the last 3 catalogs I don't think I'll buy from since their sizes are 12 and up and I use size 10 currently and will be going on a diet soon (hoping to get down to size 8). Just wondering if you all would consider the clothes from the first 3 catalogs to be suitable for someone in their 20s (and again I'm 28 years old). Can someone please give me opinions on what you think of their clothes? Do you or have you bought from them and could you please let me know what age range you consider their clothes to be targeted for? Thanks

I used to get those catalogs too. I think Chadwicks is for more middle-aged women because they have a lot of elastic-waist stuff made out of polyester. Not OLD woman stuff, just clothes for busy middle-aged people who don't want to iron or worry about belts, etc. So personally, my thoughts are:
Chadwicks - 35-60 years old
Laredoute - 18-40 years old
Metrostyle - 30-50 years old
I think they're all owned by charming shoppes, that's why you get them all. Good luck on the diet.
