Last night, my computer worked fine. This morning, everything works except my tower. Nothing happens when I push the power button. We had bad weather with lightening, could this be the cause? Just the tower is not working, the modem, monitor and router is fine. Please help!

Same thing happened to me the other day, my problem was that my powers supply blew. If you can do the replacement yourself it should only cost u 60 bucks at the most, if you take it to a shop expect of upwards of 200 bucks. So try to find a friend thats computer literate

You could have had a power surge that blew something. If your not comfortable taking it apart, you will need to take it somewhere. Get at least two opinions on repairs! Avoid the Geek Squad!

Yes, if you didn't unplug everything, there's a good chance
it got zapped and fried something. You need to take it to a
shop and get it checked out.

Apparently your tower wasn't the only thing that was struck by lightning...
