it truly is truly for the money that the colleges get for playing and triumphing the game. also for the followers and gamers to flow someplace and spend income that city ( until eventually obviously your like Vanderbuilt playing on your human being state. flow Commodoors by technique of how!) also Utah more suitable positive be determination 2 the way they whooped on an Alabama team that did not coach. (i'm a bama fan and became there. :-/ ) i have self belief that there are nonetheless truly some problems with some conferences no longer having a convention championship(percent10, MAC as an party) and some colleges elect a convention to get into, (Notre Dame) there does no longer be that a lot difficulty with the BCS. yet because it stands the BCS is bull because in case you inspect Georgia before dropping to Alabama they were undefeated and kept dropping contained in the polls. it truly is the variety of issue it truly is bull. i'm am SEC supporter, (except Auburn and Florida with Tim Tebow) yet I argued that Utah could were contained in the nationwide Championship actual. i have self belief it truly is strictly what the BCS is doing( score and evaluating communities by technique of potential of time table(flawed) and helps out the media darlings)

first off, they would still have the bowl games even if they had a playoff, so what are you talking about the bowl games make too much money? and the statement itself is ignorant because most of the lame bowl games dont make any money and teams lose money traveling to them. the bowl system used to be good, but now it is a joke with all the automatic placements and such.

but yes, the answer is 0 chance in the next 2 years.....cant wait til they eventually do it though

Don't know how long TV contracts are, but what I think will have to happen to make playoff happen is 3 or 4 teams, from the best conferences (sorry MAC, WAC, Mountain West, C-USA) to be undefeated at end of a season.

0...the ncaa, the bcs, fox tv, and the participating schools make so much money from the game that there is no way anyone would agree to it...they just won't surrender that money for the better of the game and the better of the system

ZERO percent. The NCAA has been butt budies with the bowl system for far too long! No one seems to want to compromise, so we're stuck with the same BS system year in and year out in the name of the almighty dollar.
