Obviously with William's death, corner back had to be a serious consideration in the upcoming draft for the Broncos. Who do they take first now, though?

Just an editorial comment, though...this year's Bronco defensive back field looks awfully good with Lynch, Bailey and Bly sitting back there.

I would love to think they could move up for a RB, but defensive line is still a pressing need. DT, maybe Marcus Thomas from Florida.

The secondary will be as good as ever, although Lynch and Ferguson are getting old. They really could use another safety, perhaps in a mid-round. Even though he's a dirt bag, Brandon Merriweather from Miami looks good on paper.

I think Thomas Jones or Willis McGahee would look good in blue, toating the rock for 1500 yards, but I don't know if they'll have the cap space. They might make a run at TE Daniel Graham from NE.

With Bly there now, I don't see a pressing need for defense. Is RB a consideration? Maybe offensive line? Or are the Broncos comfortable with Mike Bell? I'm not too familiar with the Broncos..

1) Maybe trade up to get a top notch RB - Adrian Peterson would be a good fit in Denver but it would mean moving up to probably the #3 or #4 slot - might be to high of a price to pay.
- or -
2) They still need pass rushing help. Maybe a pass sacking demon of a DE?

* I agree, with the addition of Bly, Denver has probably one of the best secondaries in the league.

They have a needs at RB and OT now but will they address them in the 1st round? RB is possible because this not a deep RB class although talk is that they are going for vets (Mcgahee, Ahaman Green) to fill that spot. With the loss of Foster they could go with Levi Brown from Penn State if he is availble or Texas's Justin Blaylock who is a guard but could play OT. But OT is not a position they traditionally drat high. I have seen mocks where they take Adam Carriker a DE from Nebraska, they could also look at another DE or WR (Ginn or maybe Jarret) since this a good year for both positions.
