First of all, are you a Christian? Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour? If not, then you need to do that before you try to talk to satan. If you are not a Christian, he will not listen to you. However, if you are a Christian, you have the authority, as stated in the Bible, to tell him to be gone as far as the east is from the west in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Neither you nor the person you are telling satan to flee from must doubt that it can be done. If you are unsure of yourself, see a pastor. This pastor must be from a Bible believing church. It would definitely help if the pastor had experience in casting out satan.

Words? Who says you need words. James 4 vs 7 says (King James version): Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Jesus said, "Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God..." (when he was tempted, recorded in this instance in Mt 4 vs 10)- this, however, is Jesus resisting Satan. It is the power of God that is stronger than Satan but it won't do anything for us if we don't have the desire to resist him. Too often we look for an excuse when we need to take responsibility for ourselves (in this case, too). Don't say you're a victim of evil- resist it (don't give in to what you know you shouldn't be doing anyway) and submit yourself to God... which is where the majority get to mucking around looking for a way out.

My approach would be " I command you leave the body of "insert name of possessed " in the name of the father, the son, and the holy ghost. " That should do it .....but what none of these morons are telling you is the demon has to go somewhere (Jesus send one into a herd of hogs which then ran into the sea) So if its just you there with the possessed when the demon comes flying out you may have problems of your own. As for sending a demon into a hog, well........think about it. It took a WHOLE herd to contain one demon.....You have going to be up $hitcreek without a paddle if you wind up with a killer demonic hog dude......Hummmm....I have a solution ......Maybe you could get a flock of maybe a couple 100 chickens to sent the demon into.......Then if you had a 12 Ga shotgun and a case of #4 shot you could probably kill them all before they kill you.
