For those of you telling me that it should end in a period and not a question mark, try asking a question sometime. Yahoo puts the question mark in there - you aren't given an option.
The answer, of course, is that the problem is with "none of the above" coming before "all of the above". I was writing a test the other day (and no, I don't use multiple guess on my tests) when this occurred to me, and I was wondering how obvious the logical flaw was. Thank you all. I'll pick a best answer as soon as the blasted thing lets me.

There are at least two possible answers to 1+1 =
1) 2, in base 10
2) 10, in base 2
So a) and b) by themselves are not the right answer.
c) is technically correct, but not really since both a) and b) are the right answer, so "none" being right is basically incorrect.
d) is incorrect also, since c) is incorrect.
The correct answer would be e) if it said "a) and b) are correct,"
or if you switched d) and c) then "all of the above" would be correct.

To be technical, the error is in the answers, not the question. "All of the above" has to come before "None of the above". Otherwise, you'll never be able to pick D for an answer since it directly contradicts C but would have to include it.

Both of the answers c)none of the above, and d)all of the above, do not work with each other. If it was all of the above, how could it be none, and 10, and 2? Therefore, you can not have both the C and D answers together.

The symbol for equal isn't an equal mark so the 1+1 is a statement, not a question.

The error is when you said the sentence. It should end in a period because it's a statement. And of course the answer is a) 2.

The error is the question mark after the statement "Find the error in this question?"
Since this sentence is a statement, you should use a period, not a question-mark.
The rest is a red herring, but the answer is of course a) 2

d is all of the above but c is none of the above so d can't be all of the above because if it was it a and b and c would be true but a and b cant be tru if c is true

answer d) is the error......as "all of the above" includes "none of the above" so the answer cannot be "all of the above"!
