Even the good things have a fairytale like feel to them. Did I make any new friends? Did I laugh endlessly and hope it would last forever? Caucasians who are freckle-prone will have dandruff which is is darker when it sloughs off of a freckle than when it sloughs off of a portion of unfreckled skin, but that is because the pigmentation of freckles is not in the same layer of skin as it is for those with consistently darker skin.
The same is true for caucasians who tan: their sloughed skin includes darker, tanned epithelial cells.
Most people of indiginous african or asian or American descent only have pigmentation further down, beneath the layers of skin that slough off.

no. most dandruff is the sloughing off of dead cells from the stratum corneum, which is clear, and looks whitish or yellowish.
