Seeing now that terrorism has increased since we attacked iraq, i'd have to agree, but go ahead and read the article and decide for yourself.

No, idiots like you who talk about troop removal deadlines are the reason for increased terrorism. Also, considering that there has not been one terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11, it would certainly seem like you are full of it.

The way the war on terror is being fought exacerbates terrorism, since most of it is misguided (Iraq for example).
Terrorism's roots comes from good old oppression. Terrorism is not a single unified "thing". People commit acts of terror for various reasons. Governments commit acts of terror for various reasons, governments fund terrorism, governments support terrorism. In fact most terrorism is committed by governments, not groups.

What the war on terror the USA says is actually the war on Islam itself. There's a fear that it has spread insidiously and its influence is too great. Whether thats valid or not depends on your point of view.

Probably the greatest fear the USA has is losing economic influence over the world. The war on terror is an excuse to try and shore up weakening alliances and put back into line nations that have decided that they are tired of having washington DC tell them what to do.

Yes, as indicated during the events that took place on 9-11-01 when Muslims murdered 3000 people expecting "just another day at the office." It's also apparent that you've missed the entire point of going to Iraq. It wasn't Saddam. It wasn't WMD. It was to use it as a central fighting point in the War on Terror. We didn't secure the borders, which is why terrorists came out of the woodwork and appears to have "created more terrorists" as liberals like to claim. Iraq is the roach bait housing-terrorists are the roaches.

It's people like you who cause this, if you announce to the world that you don't like the war that gives the bad guys more reason to step up the murders to get more attention. In fact I think that people should back the war and you will see the the bad guys run. But that would make sense and you people seem to not get it.

The war on terror exists because government, especially the Republican Administration ignored the warnings they received. Once the terrorists saw how unprepared we were, they went to town. We still have not secured out ports properly and our open immigration is inviting trouble.
