Her biggest UK hit was with an Italian song; her biggest US hit had been written by messrs Bacharach/David, peaking at #6.
Her ashes were scattered to the sea off the west coast of Ireland.

I think that could be Dusty Springfield , my first memories of her were with the Springfield's singing Island of dreams, Dusty had such an original voice that could never be forgotten !
