Actually, consider your question again, but this time about the show American Idol itself.
Q: What does American Idol teach our children?
A: To be nasty, to abuse folks, that fame and fortune are so worshiped that folks will do anything even make fools of themselves for it. That it is ok to exploit those less fortunate (for the sake of ratings).
Actually, those angry with Antonella are so because she played American Idol; she simply upped the bar. So well in fact that she, not American Idol is the news rage. I can imagine Simon, and the producers of American Idol tossing in bed each night now that she has control of the reins. Looking forward to who's next!

Personally the kids arent getting much out of what Antonella does. Hey she teaches a valueable lesson.!

Who am I to judge her? What she did hurt no one but herself. It is a person's character now, that counts. Now if she had abused, molested or murdered someone, that would be different. America thinks she is a good singer, they are not "idolizing" her past, more open minded people can see beyond that.

what is the bleeping problem? so what if she had photos. the girl was poor and had no way to make money. we cant look for perfection. If your child is watching American Idol when they should be in bed, then you as the parent are at fault

We idolize her for being HOT... and we are teaching our children that being hot has its rewards, which is and always will be true
