I had the same problem. I wasn't average though, I was CURVY. It really bothered me but by the time I graduated and was a young adult, I loved it because I had a beautiful figure and received a lot of attention from men.
I've never been thin and never will be but I'm blessed to look the way I do. The trick is to embrace it and make the most of what you've got. Try to eat right with a few treats now and then and keep yourself toned. That's really important.

I'm used to be average myself. Its true, almost all of the girls in my grade are all stick skinny and fashion lines only make clothing for the super skinny. I am not super skinny but I'm am in the middle of average for how tall and old i am. The best way to loose weight, and it really works, in the 5 months i lost i think about 10 pounds and I'm proud of what i have accomplished, is to exercise and eat correctly. You don't have to get rid of all the fatty foods and carbs because if you do you'll have a total craving and pig out on it. What you need to do is limit yourself. Give smaller portions of whats bad for you and larger portions of whats good. Eat a salad with every dinner. For a snack it veggies. 2 times a week have a small dessert. For breakfast eat whole wheat or something with alot of fiber. When people diet they're body needs fiber so that's why. And for lunch eat a sandwich with fruit and veggies. Jog around your neighborhood walk your dog and get together with friends and get active. That's the best and healthiest way to loose weight and your not taking pills. Hope that helps!!!!!!!

You really need help because you're asking this question.
If you're averaged-sized, you should be happy because you know that eating food is good for you. Starving yourself and taking pills will do serious damage to your body, short-term and long-term.
With that said, try excercising more. Go running, or get some Pilates or Yoga DVDs. Pilates and Yoga are great for centering and muscle-toning. They will help you feel better about yourself without any negative side-effects.
Seriously, hun. You do not need to lose weight. The super thin girls at school have either an eating disorder, or are naturally thin. Be happy with your body the way it is because you're healthy. You're 13. You should not be obessesing about your weight.

It sounds to me like you have started developing before your friends. There is nothing wrong with being 'average' sized. If you force yourself to be skinny, you will end up stunting your growth. It's just not worth it, plus your friends might be naturally small framed and if have an average frame, you will look terrible if you lose too much weight.
I'm sure you look beautiful anyway.
Take care : )

Size doesn't matter. You don't need to be skinny to be beautiful. If you're average, my gosh, you really shouldn't be concerned... trust me, at my school, half the girls are bigger than the teachers.
Just tell those girls to go eat a hot dog or something.

Look you shouldn't worry about something like that. But if you have a belly you should try to get rid of it.
