While I understand your perspective, I still liked the movie (I'm easilly entertained, and totally blind to all but the worst acting).
I think that there was WAY too much hype before-hand, which always means that the actual movie will be a let-down (nothing can live up to that much hype).
Additionally, the fight scenes were kinda lame. We've become used to 15-minute-long, knock-down-drag-out, totally-obliterate-several-buildings kind of fight scenes. Not "one punch, two punch, wrap you in a flaming chain, YOU'RE DEAD!"
To me, the movie felt like there was a lot more story there, but no time to tell it all, so they just whipped along over the surface, leaving you to wonder about what depths you might be missing.
But I have to say, I LOVED it when he's at the football stadium for his BIG stunt, and the roof opens up to reveal the helicopters!!! That was awesome!
