In a society where gay marriages are starting to become "legit", we still seem to have a problem with Polygamy. Why? I am neither gay nor a polygamist, but I don't feel they should be segregated and alienated just because of their marital status. What are your thoughts?

I do not think so. Polygamy will bring on more complications when divorce or death arises. And even though some people would have everything sorted prior to either of those things happening, most will not. Seems like it could be too chaotic.

Gay marriage is completely different, in my opinion. It is a union between two individuals where lines are quite clear, those lines get a little less clear when there are 2 or 3 wives...

NO, polygamy should not be legal because it would become a society where woman's value is overruled by men!

i don't have a problem with polygamy in itself most women are there willingly. what i do have a problem with is, these families are not being taken care of by the father who wants this empire. they are being taken care of by you and me ( the taxpayers)

I think there should be one partner per person....it doesn't matter what sex the partner is....you only get one at a time.
