Many girls act and dress like boys, and yet they are straight. These girls are treated like normal girls, but when a (straight) boy acts like a girl and perhaps likes doing things girls do like make up and loving pink and drawing, reading, sewing and all that, those boys are called "gay".

I am a tomboy, a girl that hates pink, make up and short girly clothes, i dress like a boy, i arm wrestle and play soccer, but i am attracted to boys.

I have seen many men or boys who do dance and other feminine activites and everyone calls them gay and yet they are married or are in a relationship with a woman.

Why is it so?

From women's lib to feminism, the goal has been for ladies to take ground previously held by men. Therefore, for them this is success, achievement, proof that "I can be good as any man." They want the place and power previously held by men.
But men have, generally, not aspired to be like girls.

Welcome to what is known as "The Double Standard" in this world! A tom-boy is considered "non-threatening" because well, she's a girl and what guy is going to be afraid of a girl? On the other hand, a guy who doesn't like sports of some kind(even a guy who doesn't like playing cards of even billiards[pool for the rest of you], is seen as a "sissy-boy") is seen as "not right in the head" or "wrong-thinking" or even worse, "disturbed". This for some deep seated reason makes other guys afraid and even intimidated. I have no idea as to why, I skipped phsyc 101 that day, I had a date last night and didn't get back until really late and slept in okay? Okay then. Even the perfectly "normal" guy who wants to be a tailor is seen as "being wrong" or dare I say "gay" even. Why? Because society has made it this way. Until ALL people put real effort into changing society for the better, things will never change.

Because there are more tomboys then feminie acting boys.

Plus not everybody considers a boy who likes sewing and the color pink gay but they must do other feminine this to be called. Seriously if guy is doing just as much girls things as girls then he is most likly gay.
same with girls if a girl is doing just as much boy thing as boys then she probaly gay to.
