Perhaps the question should be: "Who has destroyed more American Lives? Wal Mart or the Great Society programs?

Maybe...Wal Mart or the FDA?

Or...Wal Mart or the Teamsters Union?

Perhaps...Kmart or Circle K?

...McDonald's or Burger King?

...Bill Clinton or Bill Moyers?

...Dave Thomas or David Letterman?

...the IRS or Amtrak?

I dunno.

I do know that competition is ultimately a good thing, although the hidden competition in all this may be with China. The US thinks in terms of this week or next, China looks at trends over centuries.

is this the same "Wal-Mart" that has provided jobs to millions of Americans. The same "Wal-Mart" that provides benefits, health insurance, and job security to millions of Americans. The same "Wal-Mart" that many people who can't afford a whole lot are able to save money? I would have to say Bin Laden has destroyed more American lives.I'm surprised you didn't throw a "red state" in the question somewhere. Seriously Short Bus, what's happened to you, usually you spew more liberal bile than this.

Back when Wal Mart got started, we had a much larger manufacturing base in the US. If you were a manufacturer and someone came to you wanting to buy 1,000 of what you make, versus a bunch of others wanting to buy 100, which would you choose? I'd venture to say that Wal Mart, buy buying the 1,000 of the object, actually created jobs.

I don't buy that Wal Mart killed everyone out there. There are plenty of things they don't sell.

Face the facts, people like convince and Walmart was brilliant to come along with the idea, unfor. it hurt small business, but the consumer doesn't care. There is much of a difference on destroying. Monopoly compared to Terrorism is a huge difference.

I serve the needs of small town America with my small business. And when someone comes in and tells me they can get something similar at Wal-Mart for half the price - I gladly point them towards the direction of Wal-Mart's Chinese crap.

Yeah, shame on Wal-Mart for employing the nearly unemployable and providing goods at low cost.

You are really out of touch. You really have a head of steam going about Wal Mart employees not being unionized don't you.

i never did get this argument. apparently liberals think a business can only be so large now. i guess democrats want to say that an american can start their own business, but the building better not be very big and they better not have low prices or be successful or anything.
