My computer came with MS word installed. Ive lost eveything on it. Anyone know where I can get MS word for free or cheap?

Just use OpenOffice. It's free and I like it much better. When you learn how to use it you'll see that it has many more options than Word.

Did your system come with a system recovery disk? If so, the applications from the PC manufacturer will be on that disk. If you are looking for data recovery, consider one of the file recovery applications (I use Recover My Data which I bought for $40 USD at BestBuy).

As the others indicated, a free alternative is Open Office (http://www.openoffice.org). Worth looking into if you have a little free time. The interface is pretty intuitive but you might have a bit of a learning curve to figure out some of the advanced functions.
