My husband and I have been tryin to get pregnant for 5 months with no luck. So today i bought some ovulation testers from the dollar store. Did these tests help anyone get pregnant? If so, then how soon?

i would recommend using the ovulation test in addition to tracking cervical mucus and charting your BBT. BBT works well for me b/c I actually experience a dip in my temperature right before ovulation and have ovulation "pain". I wouldn't even have equated the pain with ovulation pain until I started charting and understanding my cycle.

you do no longer ovulate once you're pregnant so which you does no longer get a surge on an ovulation stick in case you're pregnant. An ovulation attempt isn't meant to attempt for being pregnant so your question style of does not make experience. it rather is an ovulation attempt, no longer a being pregnant attempt....2 completely separate tests!

I used an ovulation test 19 years ago when my husband and I were ready to get pregnant, since I wanted to become pregnant as quickly as possible. It took about 2 months to work. My son is now a college freshman.
So go forth and multiply!!!

I never used a ovulation test, I know 2 weeks after you have a period is a good time.

No, it hasn't worked for me. I've used 6 of them and still not pregnant yet. I think while it helped me track my ovulation, it also got me so occupied each day wondering if it was the day... So I guess it's more my inability to relax being the problem. In my case, answer is no to your question.

All i know is that when I saw the box out, I knew I was getting some action. So it may have helped.
