How can there be an enquiry with a jury? There can't be anyone on the planet, let alone the UK, who hasn't heard about and subsequently formed an opinion on the subject of 'that car crash in a Parisian tunnel' - I thought that if there was too much publicity surrounding a case the case could be dropped as too much opinion/information could/would prejudice the case?

i dont believe any one will ever get peace of mind on this case. as some one has already said there are too many people who have already made up their mind and lets face it if you believe that there is a conspiracy and it is found to be an accident then you will say well of course that is what will happen. But if you belive it was an accident then you will not be surprised. Becuase what ever anyone belives or does not belive there can only be one verdict. and the only possible verdict is death by misadventure, maybe they will decide that the journalists aggravated the situation but that is all that will happen

Excellent question. Myself I go for the conspiracy theory. Who exactly? I don't know. Why? I saw a picture of Dodi and Di with Di looking so happy the week before she died. I thought they (the powers who run this country whoever they may be) will never stand for that. Next week they were dead. I would love to be on the jury.I've done jury service and I know how hard it is to listen and only make up your mind on the evidence. I would love to hear it from the horses mouth not the media. I would love to find out I am wrong. I would love for her children not to be forever reminded of their mums death. I think I could be objective and unbiased. How hard it will be to find 12 people to do that I really don't know . The people I did jury service with were utterly amazing and have my total respect.

The bizarre thing is that there has to be an enquiry at all. She died in a car crash and she wasn't wearing a seatbelt. End of story.

i think you are right perhaps when Mohamed AL fayed gets a answer from the court with a jury then he will let it lie he must realise with the monarchy as head of this country he is never going to get the whole truth i think it is one thing that none of us are going to know the truth about in our lifetime

I heard that when they did the autopsy they found a pint of semen in her stomach and she had the drivers severed tool in her mouth, that explains how the crash happened!
