I am a Republican and I like Al Gore. I think he is a smart man who has a gift to get people to think. I think he is a boring man though and am so happy he didn't get to be president. I like Bill Clinton too, although I hated his conduct in office. He is a brilliant man. It is possible to like and respect someone and not necessarily agree with their policies or views. It is an open society that is gifted with ideas of all kinds that should be considered and respected, even if not agreed upon.

It wouls be interesting to know how many of those Republicans blasting at Gore are actually living in huge mansions and running up electrical bills too, and how many secretly wish they had made many as easily as Gore did with his documentary. Boy, guess they must be very depressed that Gore made his fame openly while they have to sneak behind the back door and do dirty deals to get noticed! :-)

Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards...I could not be happier with the prospects on the Dem side this election. I like them all.
