First make up a list of the pros to having a guinea pig, the respoinsibilities it will entail, and then show them, and tell them how and when you will do these responsibilities. Also start doing extra chores without being asked to prove to them you are responsible
good luck

Guinea pigs are a lot of work. You have to let them out to run around, they can't eat certain stuff, and they live for five years! That is a long time. They kind of smell, and they get infections if you don't clean their cages at least once a week (think of walking around in your pee). I am sure your parents are thinking of all the responsibilities involved. Are you sure this is what you want?

properly real now I even have 3 guinea pigs. as quickly as I talked my mothers and dads into getting the 1st one, it took a lot. whether I never had seen getting a guinea pig in any respect until we went to our acquaintances abode and that they asked if we would have enjoyed their guinea pig. (Daughter replaced into turning out to be up and did no longer choose them anymore) So I did a tonn of abode paintings and a lot of extra chores and finally for a ask your self I have been given her :D She is wonderful, very previous now yet has finished plenty. one subject you should do which comprise your pig, is become in touch in 4-H and instruct her. I did, and it has finished plenty for me. Your mothers and dads could probable choose to hearken to that, and you could make new acquaintances interior the technique. extra then one -a clean puppy is likewise a clean suitable chum for a protracted time and you could desire to verify you will consistently love and shield her. ensure you frequently save the cage sparkling so as that there is no scent. it fairly is one subject my mothers and dads hate, yet with 3 piggies, there is no thank you to do away with all of it. yet another subject you're able to do is practice him :) i'm hoping I helped you slightly, do no longer overlook approximately 4-H!! The honest is sooo relaxing!!

Ask them for a horse. Ask them for a donkey. Ask them for a goat. Get smaller until you get the guinea pig. (;D This is a joke. Don't try it.)
Be persistant... IF they don't have a logical reason not to let you care for one(they probably do; did you ask?)

how old are you? I think that you should be at least 14 to even consider having a pet of your own. Since you are responsible for all of its care.
