after all , he does share some powers with V, and they have this weird connection.
and we all know that to separate your soul you need to kill someone.
furthermore, after harry got hurt by V and his parents died, V went off, so weak he wasn't really alive.

last point, the prophecy insist on the fact that one can't live if the other survives .

I said this to my friends and they laughed at me. I think it is a valid point because that way Harry has to die in order for Voldemort to so the prophecy is in a way forfilled (just both of them die not just one). That would make some hard reading though. I was so angry when she killed dumbledore off so imagine how people would react if it was harry.

I think that it will turn out that Longbottom is the horcrux and that he dies bravely in order to kill Voldemort. After all he has been kind of a dark horse and did share a lot in common with Harry (regarding circumstances).

I guess we'll see soon enough.

I think not because that is way predictable. I think there will be a twist in the tale as Voldermort will live and harry dying. So Harry can't be a Horcrux if Voldermort lives. However, it all won't be gruesome as Voldermort is extracted from his magic. Now that would be an ending.

I think that's exactly what we're supposed to think, and I reckon she'll really put us through the ringer about it, but eventually we'll find out that the final horcrux is in Neville.

No, why would voldemort try to kill his own horcrux. Killing Harry would only hurt voldy if he was a horcrux.

I think he is and that he will die in the last book. Hate to see him go, but I thought that for a while now.
