How do I get those rainbow boots on Runescape?

Question

I see some people with them but I have no idea where to ge them.Are they on a quest or something?Is there any requirements to getting them?
I just started playing not so long ago so my combat level isn't very high

There aren't any requirements except for general survival. They're called Fancy boots, and you can find them in the Stronghold of Security in the Barbarian Village (directly east of Varrock, north of Draynor Village and south of Edgeville). In the center of the village, in amongst mining rocks, there is a hole that leads into the Stronghold.

Besides being a test of player strength (and internet speed), this stronghold, as the name suggests, is built for security purposes, namely teaching players how to keep their accounts as secure as possible. There are "safe" spots throughout the stronghold, where you can rest and wait to make your next move. To get out of these spots, you have to answer multiple-choice security questions involving worst-case scenarios of compromised accounts and how to avoid them. Even if you plan to avoid monsters and just run from one safe spot to the next, bring extra food with you to keep your hp up.

There are four levels, going from easiest to hardest, based on War, Famine, Sickness and Death. You have to pass through all of these levels to get the boots. Going through all of the levels, you have the chance to earn 10,000 gold pieces, four emotes, and the boots of your choice, Fancy (rainbow-colored) or Fighting (brown and red with spiked toes and sides). The stats of the boots are identicle.

Level one monsters range from lvl 5 Goblins to lvl 27 Minotaurs. The Minotaurs are supposedly member's monsters, but appear there in the non-member's world and drop a certain special item (more about that below). Even if you're a low level, you can usually dodge the mosters in this level with the help of a map, reach the end, and treat yourself to a modest 2k gold pieces and emote.

Level two monsters are Giant Rats, Zombies and Flesh Crawlers, levels ranging from 26 to 53. Flesh Crawlers are the member's monsters here, but the Zombies are generally more dangerous.

Level three: Spiders, Giant Spiders, Scorpions and Catablepons(members). Dangers ranging from lvl 24 Spiders to lvl 68 Catablepons. Watch out for the Giant Spiders especially, though, as their new design makes them almost impossible to see on some browsers.

Level four is the last level with the most dangerous monsters. Lvl 68 Skeletons keep their graves here, as well as lvl 86 Ankous (skeletons encased in purple ectoplasm, considered a member's monster until the Stronghold was built). Keep an eye out for ghosts as well. Helpful Hint: It's rumored that the Ankou's maximum hit is 8, so if you have at least 17 hp, food, and a relatively high-speed connection, you stand a good chance of living through their attacks. For anyone who doesn't know, training using controlled attacks adds experience points to your hitpoint level.

After getting through the last level, you can collect the boots, along with the fourth emote. You can exchange one pair of boots for another by going back to the end of the last level. Portals at the beginning of each level teleport you to the end of the level if you have already collected the treasure there.

In addition to the treasures, if you kill enough of the member's monsters, they will drop pieces of a magical sceptre (left and right skull halves, and the top and bottom pieces of the sceptre itself) which can teleport you to the barbarian village once completed. As this requires defeating high-level monsters many times to complete the staff, it is usually only the higher-level players that even try.

You have to go to the security thing in the barbarian village. You have to get to the very bottom, and its very difficult for some players, and you have a choice between combat boots or rainbow boots, but the rainbow boots are so much cooler ^^, oh, and u also have 2 be a certain combat level at some point in there I belive.

It is my understanding that you can only get them when you play on July 4 (the holiday).

Log on, on the Fourth of July, and go near the wilderness (some people call it the Wildy).

Near the Wildy there are lots of people and someone is there. Talk to him and he gives you Rainbow Boots.

in barbarian village where people mine in the middle search around the ore to find a hole...climb in the hole and bring ALOT OF FOOD!!!!!!!!!! if you are under 10...find a way to get to the middle of the maze and get the emote and money from the object in the central room...climb down to the next lvl and repeat the maze and getting emote untill you find a last object which has the fancy(rainbow) boot

goto barbarian city, there is a hole you can climb town in the middle of town, beat all the levels there to get the boots. have lots of food

I have no clue!!!!!!!!!!!! But as soon as you get enough $ you should get World of Warcraft. It has way better graphics.
