Im going to run around a track that is 400m round, what is this converted into miles?

1/4 mile.. 1600 meters is a complete mile. (numbers are rounded )

400 meters is the metric equivalent of 440 yards -- a quarter mile.

In real figures, 400 meters = 0.2485 miles = 1312 feet, which is 8 feet short of a quarter mile.
