Is the sex drive of a teenage girl as strong as that of a teenage boy?

teen girls are as curious... and interested...if not more so..they do not flaunt that though.....whereas guys will openly/rudely talk about it.. drone on... be crass... regardless....
they do not always appear as driven.....or maybe it is a matter of not appearing as "strong" a need/desire.... because males "peak" at a much younger age remember....
so, maybe it is just that guys feel that urgent need to pro-create at that point because inside the survival instinct reminds them their time is almost up......
the way they say a thirty-something woman does with the ticking of her biological clock........

Everyone has a different sex drive, and it doesn't always have to do w/ age. I'm sure for the most part teenage boys do have a higher sex drive than girls, but not always. I have always had a high sex drive. My husband always said that he didn't think he'd ever meet a girl w/ a sex drive higher than his, but he did lol and he tells me no more than I tell him no! I think teenage girls have the drive, but worry more about what people think of them because society has said that a girl is a whore if she sleeps around where boys are cool. Girls have the drive just more to worry about like reputation, pregnancy, stds, etc. which means they are more likely to hold back on their sex drive.

I had a really high sex drive, but then I was in a happy, loving long-temr relationship when I felt this way, and most teenage guys I know felt that way 24/7, relationship or not.

No, women reach the peak of their sex drive at around 30, whereas men reach their peak sex drive at about 17-18. At around 30, the drive is actually near equal, as men's sex drives decline after 18, whereas womens increase to that level at around 30.

Well I'm 15 right now, and I really couldn't care less about sex. I have a guy friend who's 16, he says he's had sex before and he does mention it a lot. But it depends on the person I think.

Teenagers should not have sex until they are ready to deal with what comes with it. ST D's, pregnancy, etc. Most teenagers and some forty year old are not able to deal with that stuff
This go for both sexes

Unfortunately, yes. Teenage girls are more likely to see sex as a way to build up their self-esteem and make themselves popular and keep a boyfriend.

Uhhhh no.
I won't start dating, or even thinking about boys, until I'm at least 15... (I'm 12 now... I'm focusing on school, mainly). I know it's natural for teens to have a huge want for sex, but I don't think they should act upon it or think about it a lot. That's what leads to all of the "OMG am I preggo?" questions on this site.
