I want to copy all the contents of a file into text. I would like a list of all the contents of a folder. If anyone know's how to do this, please let me know. (Without needing to purchase software or something like that)
Thanks!

To get the list of a folder's contents, open a command prompt and enter:
cd
Where is the path to the folder.
Type:
dir >folder.txt
and this will create a file called "folder.txt" containing a listing of the files and folders in that folder.
Type:
dir /?
to get other options of dir command.
Type "exit" command to close command prompt.
Double click "folder.txt" in Windows Explorer and notepad should open it. Copy and paste it into MSWord (or whatever.)

Open Microsoft Word - click on Insert menu - scroll down and click File.. - Insert File window will appear - navigate to the desired folder and select the file you want .. Also, you can select multiple files by holding down Ctrl key and clicking the desired files. Click the Insert button. All files should be copied to MS Workd.

Enjoy it.
