I have a good friend that I just basically met this year. He doesn't really stand up for himself...and hes known as the person who is a dork and has no friends. But hes really not. One day, I stood up for him. I didn't know him really. But I thought it was the right thing to do.We became friends. Hes been telling me about his days and things. But all they consist of is being made fun of and getting things flicked at him. I am a girl...just thought I'd throw that in. But he has been asking help through God, and I have been trying to help him. We are only in the 8th grade...but this is serious. I dont want him to fall into a depression. He doesn't want to either...but I think that he mite. Also, this guy that I know is making fun of him. I love this guy, but I loved him last year. And im still addicted to him. We were great friends...now he hates me. So how do I deal with all these ppl ganging up on the kid? He needs HELP. I want to help. I've told him to ignore them, take a deep breath

He deserves better!!
I want to help him so bad. What do I do? he is a major Christan guy..but barely has ne friends. 8 of his cousins go to our skool. He doesn't get along with ANY OF THEM. What do I do?

I feel very bad for kids like him. First thing is that he should not give up on God. God will come through for him. I am a major christian woman and I will be praying for him. What you should do is go to the guidance counselor and talk about it with him or her. Tell her that you really would like help for this guy and that you are afraid that he might do something drastic. Why are kids so hurtful to each other. And let us not even talk about his cousins, they should be standing up for their family but they choose to ignore this situation. That is really shameful for that family. But keep on doing what you are doing. God will help both of you, and in the future you will seeyour rewards. Don't worry about that guy you liked who hates you now. Guys will come and go, but the true ones will remain.

This is horrible advice but it will work. He needs to fight these guys like 3 times. When I was in 8th grade I got pushed around until I pushed back. It only took one time and I didn't win the fight. Tell him to do it where a teacher can see so he won't have to fight very long. They don't want to risk getting hurt even a little that's why they pick on the weak. The long run good news is things change a lot in high school and by college your in a new universe where guys like him swing the big sticks. Your a good friend. Give him a minor make over. Suggest a good way for him to cut and style his hair. When he goes clothes shopping help him pick a normal outfit not something too crazy. Middle school really sucked for me but I got some dignity started lifting weights and excercising and being proud of myself. When I graduated high school the crowd chanted my name and screamed when I walked on the stage. Good Luck

It sounds like this guy needs a friend and you sound like you are his best friend. I have depression and I know that sometimes all you need is someone who is there for you. The sad thing is, most people who get treated like this are extremly sweet, knid and have a heart of gold. Tell him that you care about him cause even though every one else is treating him like a freak or something, you are being his friend and thats the only thinh that matters. Oh, and if this guy that you like hates you and treats your friend like crap, why would you want to go out with him??? Another reason for you t be there for him is because his coisins dont treat him with the respect he deserves either. As I said before, I have depression and the WORST possible thing that makes every thing wel,depressing is when you get rejeccted by your own faimly members. I guess what Im trying to say is this guy has problems and he needs you to be there for him because youre the only friend hes got and by the sound of it, this guy needs all the help he can get.

There is nothing a guy wouldnt want except for His Valkyrie...
Just keep helping him, piking on his qualtiyies. Inviting him with your friends to have a fun night. Or maybe even just chill at his/your place. Find out what he likes and do something with him.U can never to many freinds.And it what was a wise desicsion u made by standing up for him, now try and make it work.Ask for guidance,peace,and one awesome time.Get in a band, coffee, surprise him with a home visit or maybe even just a phone call. Talk to your other freinds and tell them about the things he likes and is good at even pick something he is good at and have a freind say it in front of u and him..Make him feel comfortable about himself. and the people he is around...

You should mention this to the school counselor, they will know how to best adress the bullying aspect. As for his family life that is something he has to work through but I commend you for having a big heart and knowing that helping others is the right thing to do.

well what can u do.. probably nothing.. sice u cant talk to him.. why does he hate u..i think u should become friends.. and be like best firends.. better than nothing.. u should talk to him and do u really like LOVE him... or is it a friendship love? well u cant really do much about the picking on.. why do they pick onhim thats so gay ... like wtf... in our scool no one picks on any one.... cause were just cool like that lol so yea... just like become his bff and hang out with him and stuff...
