A little drizzle of cold water after half an hour of calling them ususally does the trick - if not resort to a bucket

Do what i do. Go in to there room with a portable cd player and a cd of loud opera or something that will really annoy them.
Play it just loud enough to get there attention, open curtains and windows and stand there untill they get up. Works for me.

Say that their danglies will fall off if they keep playing with them so long, assuming that is why they stay in their pit so long.

I usually find that burnt toast does the trick, the smoke alarms are so sensitive.... true!
