How many segments can be drawn between 10 noncollinear points? 20 noncollinear points?
is the rule (n-1)X n divided by 2?

Your rule is right, because you can draw a line from each of the n points to any of the other (n-1) points, but that counts each line twice, so you divide by 2.

I don't recall the formula right off the bat, but I tested yours and it seems to work.
