A great website to try is the Family Fun Magazine website, familyfun.com, it is LOADED with activities and ideas for kids of all ages. We subscribe to the magazine, and in last month's issue there were easy-to-make and play games for your kitchen table. Most of the activities and crafts on the site are inexpensive and kids love them.

I give my 5 year old games to play, he will play tile laying games like Carcassonne by himself or with me. Legos are also great.
