I think it just might be, and here is one possible way to do it. Troll for questions with no answers that have been on the forum for a while and research the subject and leave an answer. As the only one to leave an answer, their chances of being picked as best answer are good.
One possibility anyway.

Seems like alot of the "best answers" were the only answer. Plus, alot of people go back and vote for their answers. Some people even sign on using different accounts so they can vote for their answer. Not that I'm accusing anyone of anything. . .

She must go and find older open questions with no answers. Most of those only had her answer in the list.
