Absolutely yes. Even if you do not have a spouse or children. If something should happen to you you are leaving the burden on your family and the average funeral these days is running 15 grand!! Not to mention the yonger you are the cheaper you get it for. If you are younger you are less likely to have medical problems. Many people wait until they have diabetes or have had a transplant and then can't understand why they are denied. Call around and get a few quotes. Even if you have minimal coverage for around 20,000 that would definately lift a burden from your loved one. Also for everyone that replied you should only have term do not listen to them. Term is not for everyone but is better if you are younger, later in life you can convert it to whole life.

Yes, you at least need to have enough to cover burial expenses. If you have debt, you'll want enough to cover that so that no one else is left with it. If you have a family you also need think about how much they will need since you will no longer have an income. Or if you're a stay at home mother, how much will they need to cover the cost of child care since you won't be around to provide that?

How old are you? Do you have any kids? If not pass on it what are you going to do with the money you can't use it you will be gone. You can spend the money you would be spend on life insurance each month on fresh organic produce to make you live longer. If you are a stunt driver/actor,actress,cliff diver, sky diver the fresh organic produce will make you perform at your best and you will not need that insurance

Only if you have people who are dependent on you and would suffer financially if you were gone. So, if you have kids or a spouse that relies on you then definitely 100% yes. If you are single with no financial dependents then no, it's simply a waste of money.

What Dean said. And if you need it, only Term life. No whole life or Universal life or whatever the name of the week is. If it has a savinngs account with it, you don't want it.
