I'd have to go with Leadbelly, Buddy Guy, or any of the kings. What about Hubert Sumlin, Eric Clapton, Robert Johnson, or SRV/Jimmie Vaughan?
Thank you whoever said Robert Cray. I love the way he plays. Time Makes Two is one of my favorite songs.

Buddy Guy has always been my favorite.
Mississippi John Hurt is also good.
You have several different blues types up there. So depending upon your personal style the names could change. Also, you seem to be missing a few good ones.

Muddy Waters of course. He is the king of the blues.
Leadbelly would have to be second, even if it is just for the influence he has had on artisits since.

This list is a good start for sure! I can never really pick favorites in music because i have too many! It's like when you have more than one kid or best friend, they're ALL your favorites in different ways!
