The 18th I injured my knee somehow, and after MRI I wait to see a surgeon. Can someone tell me what all these finding mean together? I have found seperate info on it, but nothing of what it ALL means, and what now?
1)Tear of ACL
2) Grade II MCL sprain
3) Tear of PHMM
4) Diffuse fluid & edematous signal over Posterior knee soft tissues.
5) Partial tear of medial gastrocnemius tendon.
6) Partial tear of semimembranosus tendon
7) Suspected Baker's cyst with fluid over posterior knee over gastrocnemius muscle, with possible Baker's cyst rupture.

Thank you!

Ugh I feel for ya, I've got knee problems too. But geez...You did quite a number on yours...

this means that:
1) You've completely torn your ACL
2)It's kind of like a partial tear in your MCL, so like you've torn fibers
3)PHMM is kind of like a tear to the meniscus (cartilage) I THINK, not sure, but i think it has soemthing to do with a cyst
4) You've partially torn 2 tendons that ruptured the bursea which lead to the bakers cyst, then that cyst ruptured spilling its fluids into the caivtys of your knee.

I'm not 100% on this one though, best off talking to your doctor And good luck...sounds like you've got a long recovery ahead of you...

Go on the internet and look these things up. Or ask your doctor!
